Jean-Pierre Coffe
Jean-Pierre Coffe (born March 24, 1938) is a French radio and television presenter, food critic and author.
== Early life and education ==
Jean-Pierre Coffe spent a big part of his childhood in the town where he was born, Lunéville. He never knew his father, mobilized in 1937 and dead at the battle in 1940, he was raised by his mother who took over the family hairdressing room. His grandmother was a cooker and his grandfather was a market gardener.
His mother left Lorraine for Paris where he studied in boarding school. At the age of 13, he had a passion for theater. After his studies, he took classes at the Cours Simon and had small jobs at the same time.
